Easter. Spring time here in the Swiss air. If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of the wind in the trees, birds chirping, streams gurgling, Shamim trying to stop tweeting on Twitter, and the restful tone of Hanan's typing on her laptop while simultaneously juggling two phone calls, helping one child with homework and giving me instructions...So I made a deal. 4 days off, starting tomorrow. Hanan hasn't vetoed this idea yet, mainly because I think she misheard me and thinks I said 4 hours. My defence is as follows:

1. I haven't had four days in a row off since 1993
2. No-one else in the UK is working anyway
3. I'd like to watch our own DVDs, esp the extra bonus features and director's commentary because I heard (probably on this very blog) that they were amazing...
4. After four days of non-stop 24 hour interaction with two energetic children I will have a new gratitude for my work time come Tuesday.

Will this actually happen? Will Hanan have to be surgically removed from her IPhone? Will she be able to sit through our DVD extras without taking notes and/or asking me why on earth I said THAT in the commentary? You'll have to wait to find out because I am also de-blogging, de-tweeting, and everything else. Have a good weekend...
