Hello from rainy Rochester, NY. What? I hear you cry. Last time we left you, you were sending video blogs from the Swiss countryside! I know. I move fast, what can I say? I had to make a trip to the East coast and am now holed up in a hotel room, catching up with work and missing Hanan and the boys.

I wanted to let you know that I have a one hour radio interview with ArtistFirst Radio (link below) on Tuesday 24th August at 8pm Eastern time. I’ll be discussing ‘The World Unseen‘, ‘Despite the Falling Snow‘ and ‘I Can’t Think Straight‘ books and of course, ‘Now the Blog‘. Since it’s a whole hour, I may also start discussing world peace and the meaning of life…listen in via the internet if you can bear to listen to me talking away for an entire hour, and please encourage all your friends, family and random strangers to do the same…

Wow, what a great program! I loved the interaction and the humor and just hearing you champion your work and being part of that art at work. I hope all who listened will step up to the sales section and help support Enlightenment Productions in all future endeavours!! I am going shopping!

Thank you all for the support. I should clarify the interview is by phone, I didn't come to Rochester for that...and Mary, Mr Obama may draw a few more than me, but just a few :)

Well, given the choice, I would rather listen to you on the radio than to see him in person. But then, I'm not his biggest fan.
I can only think of one reason for a person to travel such a great distance just to end up in Rochester,NY. Is there a happy one?

Shamim, you are so near yet so far!! Come to DC - maybe I'll get you an audience with President Obama!
  • Mary Theodosis
He'll have to get in line. The draw is Shamim not Barak.
  • Claudia
    Who is Barak?
  • Mary Theodosis
    Our president, Barak Obama.
  • Claudia
    President Barack Obama
  • Zelia Lobo-Hagiwara

So why are you really in Rochester? It's a nice enough town but that's a long trip for a radio interview. We will all listen of course but radio can be done from anywhere. Any public appearance?

I am happy you are on the east coast. I am in Massachusetts so that helps. This is a good time. At least I will not be sleeping, working, or have any conflicts that keeps me from listening to your talk show. I am looking forward to listening to your interview. I have that date marked down. I hope you enjoy Rochester. I have never been there. Just as far as NYC. I hope you can find something interesting to do. It's also raining here also. I think the east coast is experiencing rain for the next couple of days. We need it. Have fun!

Are we also going to know what happened with those french players who were supposed to wear your TShirts ? I'll try to follow that, what time will that be for us in Western Europe, 1AM ? Piece of cake.
  • Maureen
piece of cake? chocolate cake? pizza and cake... I better go take a walk.
  • Maureen
Have fun with the interview. If you have a chance, since you're out that way, have a nice slice of east-coast pizza for me. Well, and one, or two or 6 for yourself. Yum!

Will do my best to tune in to listen. Rain in Rochester, huh? Never been there, but have some friends from there. Try to enjoy the romantic, bohemian atmosphere of your dimly lit room with rain pelting the window pane? ok...'try' being the operative word ;-)
